Hi Friend 👋 So glad you stumbled upon our little corner of the interwebs. My name is Melissa. I've been making candles professionally for almost 8 years. My career in the industry began while working for a luxury candle making supplier, filming tutorials and working closely with consumers.

Through that experience I got deeply acquainted in perfecting the craft and gained invaluable industry knowledge regarding quality standards, ingredients, and raw materials. I have even had the privilege of receiving training in perfumery from some of the largest fragrance houses in the United States and absolutely love how fragrance is so intimately tied to our emotional memory.

In 2021, my world got rocked when God showed up in my life in a radical way after I had spent years walking in and out of my faith (more on that later). After this encounter, I gave my life to Him and around the same time, elements of grace was born as a creative side hustle.

If you had told me 8 years ago that I was going to one day become an entrepreneur, I probably would have laughed in your face. However, here we are. I didn't choose it, it chose me and I am so grateful for the opportunity to make beautiful, healthy, scented things that bring people joy.
